I am not a journalist, and have never aspired to be one. I have no political connections, and have never belonged to a political party. The closest I has come to professional sports is standing on the side of the field and watching. I have never studied any of the social sciences nor read all the philosophers.

Yet all of these interest me and have a direct effect on my daily life. And because they have an effect on my life, I have an opinion on all these things. And because I have an opinion I have to tell someone. And because I have to tell someone, someone has to read.
